Craven District Council – Your Money, Your say! – Budget Consultation 2017/18
The Council has begun the process of setting its budget for the 2017/2018 financial year. This will be approved in February 2017.
In 2016/2017 the Council has received £698,000 in Revenue Support Grant from Central Government. By 2019/2020 this will be reduced to £0.
Due to this and other cost pressures such as rising prices and increases in demand for services we will need to save a further £1.029 million from our revenue budget by 2019/2020. At least £626,000 of this will need to be saved in 2017/2018.
We want to know your views on how we spend your money and you think we should make the savings we need to
