A Jewish Custom
It was the custom at the fathers funeral that the family put money in the coffin for the after life. This man had three sons and as per custom they approached the coffin to pay their respects and contribute. The youngest son put in a £10 note followed rather more reluctantly by the second son who put in the same.
The eldest son wrote out a cheque for £30, put it in the coffin and took out the change !
