Prospective Farm Hand Young lad turned up at a Dales farm and asked for work. "Hes ta getten any testimonials" asked the farmer? "Nay" replied the lad. "Well tha'd better come back when tha's gotten some" said the farmer. Off went the lad. A few days later the farmer saw him outside the pub enjoying a pint.
