Courtin' The farmer saw a light crossing his yard in the dark so investigated. He found that it was his farmhand carrying a lantern, all dressed up. "Where's ta goin" asked the farmer ? "Ah'm off courting"the man replied. "Courtin?" queried the farmer. "Ah niver took a lantern when ah went courting". "Naw" said the man, "Ah thowt not when Ah saw'thi missus".
