A Monastry Tale The man sought solitude in a Monastry wher silence was the rule, but every ten years they were interviewed by the Abbott and allowed to say two words. Ten years later when seated before the Abbott, when asked what he wished to say he said "Foods cold"! Ten years later he uttered the words "Rooms damp" Finally after 30 years he said "I resign". Upon which the Abbott replied "I'm not surprised, you've done nowt but complain since you got here"! |
